We’re the Duncan family of Burnaby, British Columbia. In the summer of 2009, we walked to Hope to raise money for Haiti. The need there is greater than ever now in the aftermath of the terrible earthquake in Port-au-Prince, so we’re continuing to fundraise in our schools and community. Thanks for your support!

Here’s a bit about our family:

Taphatna and Camasiz were born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and joined our family in 2004 and 2006, respectively. Their brother Leo works with organizations promoting outdoor recreation and environmental advocacy. Our mom, Deborah, volunteers with orphanages in Haiti, organizes shipments of medical and school supplies there, and organizes fundraisers and awareness activities in Canada. She’s a children’s librarian at Coquitlam Public Library with a deep love and admiration for the people of Haiti.

We’re pooling our energies for a cause very close to our hearts.
