From June 19-24, 2009, we walked from Coquitlam to Hope, British Columbia, to raise money and awareness for poor families in Haiti. We were assisted by fellow walkers as well as sponsors and promoters.
We’re keeping this page up as a record of our fundraiser. Here’s the itinerary we posted beforehand to let fellow walkers know when and where to join us:
June 19: Launch Party @ Coquitlam Public Library
Drop by to see us off or join us for our first day of walking at Coquitlam Public Library, City Centre Branch (3001 Burlington Drive), from 8:30-10:30am. Come and meet our family and find out about the organizations we’re fundraising for. We’ll be selling dirt cookies (what many Haitians are reduced to eating) by donation.
